Overpriced with very ‘odd’ owners. Everything on site is Unfinished and poorly maintained. You can do nothing right with the female site owner - very strange ideas of customer service. Alleged our kids had “poisoned” the rabbits with hand sanitiser with one 3 minute visit to the loo. Then nothing was said further. Then changed it to they’ve been “poisoned with toilet cleaner” when I left a review with Pitch up as requested by pitch up stating nothing is finished so they texted me with “we shouldn’t even have let you stay as you were a group and you killed our rabbits” !! Bizarre. There was no toilet cleaner on site btw. We stayed 2 nights and the poor rabbits were penned up in cages smaller than shoe boxes the whole time we were there. It was heartbreaking. And impossible to “poison”. Toilets are covid soup in the making - no windows or ventilation. Showers are a 15 inch step into a portacabin with no mop or means or clearing up after yourself. Very very overpriced site . Very noisy - right next to extremely busy A road. Owners state it’s a “great stopover” but you’ll get no sleep for sound of constant trucks and cars?! Pub next door is fantastic though. Great food.

It would be helpful if you posted your review onto UKCS on the campsite’s page (maybe toned down a wee bit?) as well as this other website. Maybe you’ve done that already, as I see you have posted 3 reviews.

Agree. Done it several times.
Not sure the OP would want to put 10 minutes to listing a site that they didn't enjoy, but you never know!

The heading here says “ campsites in the uk” what have I done wrong? 😳😳😳 and yes I’ve reviewed other sites and yes I’ve been camping for over 30 years so unsure what your point is there too? Grateful for clarification though x
