Camping in tent stayed at Whitehall in Paignton which the boys loved and also Polmanter in St Ives but the site was just too quiet for the boys even though its a top quality site. Boys like the pool a lot. Im struggling in finding great sites with decent pool. I can find Parkdean and Haven but not sure if the noise and chaos of these sites might drive myself and husband bonkers. Also sites in the middle of nowhere no good for us we like to get out walking, bikes and things to see. What I have found is Dorset which has a lot of places to go and see. The only site which works is Freshwater. Any thoughts otherwise.

Might be worth browsing the Best of British list of independents - some have pools, through not those we’ve stayed at.

River Dart Country Park - loads of activities for active children, but it’s lake swimming rather than a formal pool.
