Hi,

Just going to book for June at Wood Lake Campsite & Caravan Park, Great Hatfield.
It gets brilliant reviews from many of you so I wondered if any of you could suggest a 'best' pitch for us.
It has lots of vacancies for our dates.

All the pitches look large. We quite like a relatively private pitch, away from the midst of other caravans, as we often just like to sit and read during the day. But with some sun (when it's out!).

We think pitch 4 looks good but wondered if people come through the gap behind from the grass pitches.

never been but looking at the googlemaps of it i would say the pitch on the bottom right in the corner where the little mini roundabout is

That's all changed. If you check out their new plan (website and Facebook) you'll see they are turning the grassed area into quite a few more hardstanding pitches.

well i did and i was meaning pitch number 17, but the only thing that concerns me is the lack of parking for your car, one thing i cant stand is when you have to put the car in front of the caravan thats the last thing i want to see out the front window of the caravan i pay to see veiws and scenery i already know what the tug looks like! lol
