I've just tried to book the above site as we've stayed before. They have had to close due to serious plumbing problems. So a heads up for anyone who may have booked. They hope to reopen in September.
------------- Be as you would be done by!
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
Interesting.... Not being told about this in the news but ... a friend has informed me that Bird Flu is rife in Suffolk and if they're close to a bird rearing business (pheasants, chickens etc) they may well have to close... could be linked?

Why would a site be devious like that? And it’s not relevant anyway. Bird Flu is indeed rife, not just in Suffolk - it’s killed many thousands of wild geese at the wetland reserve in Dumfries & Galloway, they were falling out of the sky. It means many free range chickens have to be kept under cover & their eggs boxes relabelled as being from barn reared birds. It hasn’t closed a single campsite in D&G though.
The 3km Protection Zone & the 10km Surveillance Zone only means “movement restrictions within these zones - for example, poultry, carcasses, eggs, used poultry litter and manure - to prevent any further spread of disease.” (Scottish Government website).

Six months for a plumber to turn up. About par for the course!

yeh , but , plumbing also includes drains, they may have to dig the whole lot up
