Has anyone been to this site? It's quite new; the aerial photos don't show where the hardstandings are situated, which we need to know for Sky tv (i.e. open to the south). I emailed the owner who just replied that nobody had reported any problem with tv, not what I asked!

Not been. Agree that Google Maps isn’t too helpful. The CAMC app entry has 5 photos of empty pitches though. There are trees, but they look to be individual specimens.
TripAdvisor reviews are for a Rutland Caravan & Camping site which has dense tree belts to south & west and Greetham Campsite immediately north: the wrong site but you’ve got lots of choice thereabouts!

I am jealous! Mum insisted that I trained as a teacher, couldn't pass! I wanted to be a geologist bur useless at science. My headmaster "women do not become geologists".

I'm the owner of Rutland Gateway CL.I'm sorry you didn't find my reply helpful, I did however try to give you as much info as I could, rather than just saying that no one has had trouble with TV reception
For others in this converstion, please see copy of my reply below

Good morning
I'm sorry I can't confirm if you can get a Sky signal from our campsite.We've only been open a few months and as yet, no one has commented on not being able to get a good TV reception.
To the south of the site, there are hedges with a couple of buildings behind them.The Castle Sleeper LE16 8RT. If you look on Google maps that may help you make a decision.Sorry for not being much help.

Thanks Marie, I was really trying to find out whereabouts on the site are the hardstandings situated, as they don't show on any maps. I did look at Google maps as you suggested.
