Hi, we're looking for a site with a river where we can launch a kayak, preferably on the edge of a forest or wooded area, with a pub within walking distance. We'll only get 3 nights away in May so it needs to be within say 2.5 hrs of Gloucestershire.
We have a VW T5, trailer and awning, 2 adults & 3 teenagers.
Thanks for any recommendations!
Andy

Bridge House Camping at Lechlade is on the bank of the Thames and has pubs a stones throw away - but no forest, sorry.
