We had booked two nights at a Suffolk site during what was the hottest weekend. Not too many there so well spaced and very quiet...until a dated "Jive Bunny" and his very young girlfriend arrived.
Peace shattered with boom boom music at full volume. Eventually they turned it off after a complaint but even then at a 300 yard distance, every single word they spoke was heard over my own radio. We had enough and came home early

Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
It’ll probably be even more quiet today when you posted (on Christmas Eve) than it was on your visit three months ago.
Looks an interesting site, but maybe a bit shady.
We are at Chapelcombe, St Ann's Chapel. There are some others here, but not many. Easy access from the main road, so the website says (not). Went along a tidal road yesterday, interesting!
Waterloo Farm Leisure since 22nd. No more than 4 vehicles here parked around the largest lake. Massive serviced pitches - hook up and taps, carp fishing if you want, right next to the Brampton Valley Way disused railway path into Market Harborough. Lovely place and a bargain at £21 per night. Thoroughly recommend it.
