Hi everyone after a suggestion for a decent camp site to take my 10 yr old grandson camping for the weekend. Just want him to get away from town life and just relax but also some decent things for him to do on site with out breaking his grandads bank balance if you know what i mean. any suggestions greatly recieved many thanks john x

Worth using Cowslip Farm at Strensall Nr York, its a brilliant CL site.https://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/details.asp?revid=15544
Kim and Graham are excellent hosts and prices are very low per night.

You can drive from there to the local park and ride, travel into York at a very cheap rate and theres so much for youngsters to see throughout the city relating to the vikings.
Much to commend the place!
