The members-only sites are called Certified Sites (CS) for C&CC, or Certified Locations for Caravan and Motorhome Club (CAMC).
Club sites for both clubs allow non-members to stay for an additional daily supplement.

Listed sites are just advertised by the Camping & Caravanning Club but they are independent commercial sites that incorporate their own rules and regulations. Certificated sites (CS) are 5 van sites and operate under the C&CC rules and regulations but you have to be a current member of the club to be able to stay at these locations because strictly they should ask for your membership number on application.
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
It just means the site is listed in the list in the club handbook, no more & no less. My understanding is sites have to pay (talking to one site manager whose site was listed by CAMC but isn’t any more as it cost so much).
Far more sites are listed on the UKCS directory than both clubs’ listed sites.
I find these days, I look for a site initially on UKCS then, if it is a CS, go to the C&CC site to check again. Just a case of being easier to find sites on UKCS.
