Hi there,

I'm looking for a nice sociable campsite, ideally with farm animals and somewhere we can swim.

I'm a solo parent of one, so it's important it's sociable so that my daughter can find new friends! Last year we found a campsite where all the tents were based on the outskirts of the field and the kids all played in the middle which worked well. But there were no farm animals!

Any are fine 😊 the social aspect is important, I find a field is better than grid type settings are better for us.

Not sure if this is a location you'd consider, but if you're happy with sea swimming rather than a pool, Grange Farm Camping on the Isle of Wight could be right up your street. Has farm animals and a play area where your daughter is bound to make a friend or two It's located at the top of a cliff and is a short (but fairly steep) walk to a beautiful beach.

The site also booked our ferry crossing for us which was far cheaper than booking with the ferry company.

Miles away from your choice of area, but Red Bank Farm at Bolton le Sands would be great for a longer stay. On a working farm on the shore of Morecambe Bay, petting farm on site. Sandy beaches in Morecambe not far away, Happy Mount Park for swings and slides etc.

Westmill Farm is not far from Essex, and does have swimming (I haven't stayed, but saw it when doing parkrun).
