I have not been on here for a a long time!

A long shot but I am looking for a Campsite with tow on tow off close to Bala North Wales.

I have found a really nice site that does seasonal pitches but a 2k a year this seems like a larger commitment than I want to make.

I go kayaking fairly regularly at the National White Water Center near Bala so thinking of buying a van and leaving it somewhere close but seasonal pitches are a bit much.

CAMC offer the tow on/off with some of their sites that have storage yards, even some CL's do, check the web site. You don't need to be a member to access web site, you don't even have to be a member to book a site but you will pay a hefty non-member premium, CL's and storage you do need membership to use though.

Thanks for the advice I was hoping for some local knowledge.   The search facility is useful but its really tow on tow off as well as storage that I am looking for. Quite specific I know but as I explained seasonal is a bit expensive and when you inquired about the only one that came up near Bala with storage its only off season storage and the seasonal pitch is over 3k storage and electric on top.

I have found a nice site that will do storage and seasonal for about 2.4k including EH but still a bit steep.

I did look at CAMC and found something but its a bit too far out in Snowdonia.   I would be more inclined to be this side of Bala say Llangollen.

Anyway not having much look so far.

ok what about storage at lady margarets park at chirk? its a caravan club site and not that far for getting to bala at 28 miles on a roads too

I don't know of any actual tow on tow off in the area.
You might consider Rhug Estate on A55 near Corwen who do caravan storage from September to Easter (worth ringing too see if they would cover summer). There is a brilliant site just under 0.5 miles up a quiet lane - Gaer Hyfryd. They are also worth trying as a farm who may store for you as they have several pods, function rooms and fields where they may accommodate.
