Once you know roughly where you would like to camp over the New Year, you can use the Campsite Search Facility to find sites that may suit your requirements.
I would suggest applying the following filter:
- Open All Year
- Bar
- Shop
- Restaurant
With regard to entertainment, I believe only the big holiday park type of sites will have organised events.

We did Cofton last year, the entertainment was poor and had no New Year atmosphere. Luckily we were in a large group and made it feel like New Year.
If you belong to CAMC or CC check out the rallies/meets these I have found to be more successful in the past.
Also looking for somewhere for this year :-)
