Hi there looking for an overnight stay to break the journey between Leicester and Nottingham just off M1. We have a caravan doesn’t need to be singing and dancing as just for one night.

There are several CLs (Certificated Locations), small sites affiliated to the Caravan and Motorhome Club (CAMC), but you can only use them if you are a Club member.

Yes we are members of both clubs. I have searched was hoping there were comments about just off motorway but maybe I’m looking at the wrong ones or maybe over tired at looking at our 6 week break for next year. Thank you for your advice it is very much appreciated. Thank you x

Bradgate is not far, Thornton Nursery, Leicester Hill Wood if you don't mind lots of trees.

I’m not going to recommend one we stayed at because the M-way was just over the embankment & the constant loud traffic noise kept us awake all night. (It might not even exist any more, it was a while ago.) You might have a better night’s sleep if you go 5-10 minutes off the M1.
