I am planning to camp with a friend who needs something with solid walls for her stay with her well behaved but high prey drive dog. I like a campfire, prefer smaller, quieter sites, and SE England or easy reach of London for a short break.
Any ideas?
The search facilities on most sites make it hard to find a tent pitch and a hut on the same site as 'glamping' so often means bell tents, which won't work!
Thank you!

We do this with a non-camping friend who likes some comforts: a chic timber & glass pod; a gypsy caravan; a timber dome. One had its own toilet & shower, at the others she used the site facilities. Sadly all way too far for you, but I’m just saying that I’m sure you’ll find something.
It’ll probably cost about x3 the tent pitch, but it’ll be a fun weekend.
Fforest Fields as they have a cottage for hire near the campsite?
Briarfields Hotel & Touring Caravan Park in Gloucestershire has rooms for hire at the campsite, however, I am not certain if they allow camp fire. Choose your pitch wisely as the ones along the main road can be quite noisy.

Walnut Farm, Waxham, Norfolk? Tent pitches, statics, yurts and cottages all on site. Dog walk on site and close to beach. Not been but have been looking at it.

It may be too far for you but the Old Oaks site in Glastonbury has a range of ‘solid wall’ accommodation on site as well as tent and caravan pitches. You can hire a fire pit on site or one comes as standard if you book a premium pitch and I think all the accommodation also has a fire pit as standard.
Have a look at Disserth Caravan Park near Llandrindod Wells. Small park with privately owned statics and small touring area with a Shepherds Hut and a "Pod". I think the Shepherds Hut had it's own shower room. The washblock contained individual rooms with shower, toilet and sink and they were kept immaculate during our recent stay.
