Does anyone known of a, reasonably priced, campsite in Lincolshire.
I'm looking for somewhere for a touring caravan to see the Red arrows.

We have stayed at both Sunflower Park and Normanby Hall, they are North of RAF Waddington, possibly a bit too far out.

I did a site search centred on Lincoln, as Waddington is 5 miles south, and ticked for caravans. The map didn’t show up any sites that close to the RAF station but there are literally dozens of sites in the area. A reasonably priced one is likely to be a CL or CS.
PS You might get more replies if you posted in the UK campsites forum as this “camping” forum is aimed at tent users & you have a caravan. Many caravan owners might never see your question.

While you're in the general area, you might want to consider a trip to RAF Coningsby for the Typhoons and BBMF, both for the visitor centre and practice flights, free spectators carpark and fairly close views of some ground action. And a trip to the coast to Donna Nook to the target practice range, some good action on occasions from a variety of UK and NATO aircraft, but a little unpredictable what if anything happening, so always best to check before travel, best info seems to be some of the Facebook groups who chat about the action there.
Don't overlook the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre at East Kirkby, on the right days, they have their Lancaster and Mosquito doing live engine runs and taxi runs.

As Monty15 says, sites near RAF Coningsby are worth considering. We stayed at Dakota Park last year (it is a CL) & enjoyed watching the typhoons, we happened to drop on the RAF family day and experienced a fantastic air display. Woodhall Spa isn’t too far away, for Petwood where the Dambusters were based.

This is easily our favourite caravan site in the Lincoln area. About 10 miles from RAF Waddington according to Google maps.

Lincolnshire is one of our possible choices this year, probably at the beginning of July. We haven't been there for years. The last time was probably when I took a coach party to Skegness back in the mid-1980s. We are looking at possibly somewhere in the Boston area. Not sure yet though, it's just one of several possibilities.

We stayed at C&CC site at Mablethorpe. It's a nice site while there we visited the Lincs Heritage site where they have a Lancaster and Mosquito.
Its also a good museum being an ex WW2 airfield.
They start and taxi the Lancaster which is awesome. Lovely noise.
You can have a look around it or ride in it when it taxis for a fee!

You can visit the Battle of Britain flight hangar at Coningsby and see the noisy but impressive Eurofighters take off and land.

I was in the RAF for 24 years so don't do airshows since leaving!
Recruit training was at Swinderby in Lincolnshire and I have done courses at Scampton.
I was fortunate enough to have a look in the RAF Lancaster and a Vulcan.
Many flights had in Hercules,Brittania and various helicopters.

I would go to campsite at Market Rasen racecourse when the gee gees are running. You can drive from there to see the fly past.
