Hi

I'm looking for campsite recommendations between Felixstowe & Southwold coast, want to go for a long weekend next week.

Not too concerned about being on the coast, just wondered, if anyone got any ideas?

We stayed on Peewit caravan site in Felixstowe a couple of years ago and we liked it. Seafront is walkable and there is a big supermarket almost next to the site. Many of the people we spoke to on the site seemed to be regulars so it seems popular. Would go there again without hesitation.

I have just checked. I thought I had left a review and indeed I did. It is currently the 4th one from the top. Surprised more people haven't left one after me as we went there in September 2022.

I usually do leave reviews of sites we visit unless we have been there many times before and left reviews then.

White House Beach the Kessingland CMC site is right on the beach. The site has two sections, one with pitches over looking the sea and the inland part just across the road which is more sheltered. Bus from the village to Southwold if needed.

C&CC also have a nice site at Kessingland, right next to a wildlife park. Not too far from the beach and buses run nearby.

If we are talking up towards Lowestoft, there is Jaydene Touring Park which is nice and straight in off the A12.
