Hi, I have searched the above campsite website and can't find any reference to Wifi, although it is listed in the faciliities for Shell Island here. Does anyone know if there is Wifi please?

I would contact them directly and ask, as I cannot find this information on their website.

Mobile phone signal coverage appears to be patchy depending on the network.

Personally, as I like to stay connected for work and leisure, I would probably give this site a miss unless the site wi-fi coverage can be confirmed as being reliable.

If they do say “no Wi-Fi”, drop a Contact Us note to admin & ask them to change the Directory.
Amuses me that a site praised highly for its old fashioned, back to basics vibe, would have Wi-Fi.
PS - if a site says it has Wi-Fi, it doesn’t necessarily mean you can access it eg far from booster antenna; antenna not working; other units with mi-fi close to you & blocking the site’s signal etc.

Yup, learnt the hard way, as in do not rely on Wi-Fi being accessible at every pitch as a back-up if the mobile phone signal coverage is poor or non-existence!

Thanks folks. I've spoken to someone who knows and there is no public Wi-Fi and they've confirmed that the phone signal is patchy. It doesn't bother me, I relish the isolation but a couple of youngsters in the family might disagree with me
