We never used the sites at bank holidays or school holidays. But at other times rarely see any to be occupied at all.
Just like us then, our youngest left school over 20 years ago and we've never been anywhere in school holidays since, except for the odd day trip. I have avoided bank holidays for much longer than that as I used to opt to work them whenever I could. It was usually a much easier day, I got paid a lot extra for working them, and I gained a day off that I could take when I chose rather than at a set time. I could even save them up and have an extra week off if I wanted.
You are right about the Ready Camp tents, they were rarely all occupied when we were there, just the odd one more often than not.

Colin
