Now up to date with mine. Looking at sites near Garstang and one is marked down for having a puddle outside the loo! We will be going there (use our own loo).

Edinburgh Festival time, the site may not be at its best, facilities may struggle with large numbers. But I’ll look out for your review: the Festival is a test for any site!

We’ve visited a lot of sites which are not listed - I know we can list them and I do try to do this, but it is very time consuming, and then you have to wait for it to be approved before you can review. I appreciate that admin can’t list every single site in Europe, but would it be possible to get regular data from CAMC and CCC of new CL/CS sites as they are opened ? We visited one in Derbyshire this spring that has been open for a couple of seasons and it isn’t listed.

Yes - as I've said in my post, I do this, but there are more and more not listed so I was simnply wondering if there was a way for admin to use the wonders of modern technology to import date from the two main clubs.

I make the effort to fill in the form for independent sites that I come across if they’re not in the Directory. In busy times, it can take several weeks before you get told it’s listed & ready for review.
I will cross check with the Clubs’ own websites for CLs & CSs. If you look at the updates in every magazine, there’ll be a page of sites that have closed, so I check the Directory for ones in my area & let Admin know if it’s still listed as being open in UKCS.
Frustrating, yes: I listed a CS that I came across & planned to go myself. It got cracking reviews (sunset views to Arran etc). But by the time I found the opportunity, the site had closed for a house to be built on it.
