You may be in luck with this one: The Waterloo Inn, Biggin
We've held a w/e rally there past couple of years, and booked again for next year, so know it quite well. Landlord has been very accommodating for us, pub is nice traditional village pub with good pub grub and beer, locals have been very welcoming to us as well, considering we turn up mob handed and all but take over 'their' pub! Good site facilities. Choice of EHU or not on tent pitches. It's certainly rained hard when we've been there in Aug, and I believe it had been very wet before our arrival this year, and no signs of any waterlogging, so you may be lucky with a decent dry grass pitch, but may have option of using a caravan hardstanding.
Nothing much in immediate area other than good walking! Convenience store in next village for basics, couple of miles away, otherwise off to the big towns for shopping (circa 15 miles). You are in the middle of many of the notable Peak District Dales, and if walking's your thing, you can walk to many, Tissington Trail is just the other end of village.
You won't find a pub much closer to a camp site, camping is in the 'back garden', and owned by pub! It's only about 40 miles from Nottingham. Around a dozen touring pitches, with perhaps 20 seasonal pitches, even in Aug, not many of those showed much sign of life during our stays.
You are not going to be spoilt for choice at that time of year, perhaps the majority of grass pitched sites close after Sept/Oct to stop the place becoming a mud bath, even many caravan hardstanding sites close due to lack of demand! I've been looking for a touring caravan pitch in Nov, and struggled a bit to find one still open that ticks my boxes!
Good luck.
