Sorry to hear about your problems.
Residential chalets (park homes) to rent are few and far between, and you will still have to pay rent which may not be much cheaper than anywhere else. The majority of advertised rentals are for holiday use only, not to live in.
As marg6 says, the place to start is with your local council and DWP, especially if you are disabled.
Also contact Citizens Advice and/or Shelter who will be able to check if you are receiving all the benefits you are entitled to and give the best advice about what to do.

Have you already contacted the disability charity Scope?

If you are disabled there are several benefits you are entitled to, moving should be your last resort

If you want to buy a caravan to live in then you need to find a site with a residential licence and these are few and far between. The vast majority of sites only have a holiday licence and many restrict the number of days you can stay. We have been looking at holiday seasonal sites over the last few years and we have found a number of different rules such as you can only stay for 28 days in a row before having to leave for anything between 3 and 7 days before returning or you can only stay for a maximum number of nights across the season, for example, a couple we looked at were 100 nights max in the year. The other thing to be aware of is that these holiday sites are often only open from 1st March to 31st October. Some are open for longer and some are open all year but the majority close over the winter.

Most of these types of holiday site advertise a price for the season they are open, the average we have found being around £3000, but they charge for electricity on top of that using a meter. If you plan to live in the caravan over winter you will use a huge amount of electric trying to keep warm. Each site will have its own charge for electric depending on how much they have to pay their supplier and some are locked into long and expensive tariffs. At the minute, we are finding this charge to be anything from 30p to 70p a unit. Therefore, a standard 2kw caravan heater will cost you between 60p and £1.40 per hour to run. This will be a lot more expensive than heating a 2 bed house with gas central heating.

I would recommend trying to find a Facebook group for people who live full time in caravans on residential sites and get as much information from them as you can about the pros and cons of this as it might not be as attractive or cheap as you imagine.

If you are now thinking of purchasing a residential park home to live in, there are lots for sale including many by the sea - but it depends what funds you have to purchase. The price varies according to location and age of the home - the older the home usually the cheaper it is. Prices (on fully residential parks)can be as high as £400K and as low as £30K.
Likewise, pitch fees can range from as high as £450 per month to as low as £110 per month (gas/electric/insurance/council tax/water/sewerage costs are extra). The pitch fee will increase by CPI each year.
The stipulation is RESIDENTIAL, when you will have no worries about sudden changes of site rules, being told your home is too old, being told to move away for a certain period, etc.
It may also depend on what your disability is, as you will have steps to negotiate to get in and out of your home, unless you find one already adapted by the previous owner with either a ramp or a side lift.
You need to search for residential park homes - there are a few websites, and also some FB pages.
There are NO, repeat NO, residential sites that will allow you to live in a touring caravan - those who do are using leisure sites and circumventing the legislation.
