There are 6 CLs near there, any particular recommendations? Only need ehu and of course the open line of sight to the south east. Good access, no single track roads. Views hopefully.

Not been, but seems very popular as shortlisted for CL of the year, Firs Cottage, just off the main B rd, some roads around there are narrow. Woodland walking opposite, not sure about your requirements for SE line of sight though.
Thanks, have checked out that one and it has trees in the wrong place which is a pity. We will probably stay at Coates Farm which is the nearest to Much Wenlock but they don't recycle which is a shame.
We stayed at Walnut Cottage which is a nice site but there are some nearby single lane roads. No phone signal to speak of either but a lovely area though.

Thanks, will check it out. Stayed there years ago but I suspect it might be out of our price range.
its £28 per night including ehu, but i think the main problem will be for your hubby, tall trees and hills to the south
Hi Mrs Bonce you could try this one

Its a Church Stretton, so hopefully not to far away from Much Wenlock - but no problem with trees and very good facilities it was £18 a night with EHU last year.
Thanks, we are now at The Coates, nearest to Much Wenlock which is ok, but the hedge behind us needs cutting and the road is surprisingly busy, but access is fine. Nobody else here.

Hope you enjoy your stay, Wenlock is nice. We live a few miles away in Telford and sometimes go for a walk on the footpaths on Wenlock Edge.
Ironbridge is worth a visit especially in low season. There are some good cafes and pubs.
The pies and pasties from Eleys opposite the bridge are recommended!

We went to Ironbridge today. Have been before when you could use Tesco vouchers for the museums. We found that it's hard to park by the Spar in Wenlock. Ended up at the Spar in Brosely.
