I need to live in a caravan full-time. Does anyone know of any farms in Bedfordshire that have licences for this ? 🙏

I have read your post as meaning that you need to live full-time in your own touring caravan.
You will not find anywhere that has both planning permission and a licence for you to keep your touring caravan in one place on a permanent basis and use it as your only home.
Your best bet will be to research seasonal sites and be prepared to move out of the van at intervals (stay with a friend or relative for a week or so) or touring sites that open all year and move the van from site to site at intervals, OR a combination of both.
While it is perfectly legal (and possible) to live full time in a touring caravan, land used for a permanent residence has to have planning permission to be used for a dwelling, and (if it is a caravan site) also a site licence that does not restrict use to seasonal/leisure use.
There are many sites which will turn a blind-eye to somebody living full time, but none that will openly advertise as such - they are already breaching the terms of their site licence, so will not want to make it obvious.
If you are talking about finding a residential park/mobile home site, then that is a different matter. There are already some threads on this forum about residential park home sites.

Think 22seaside has pretty much covered it!

'Licenced' and fully legit is unlikely for a touring van, the local authority licencing laws for camp sites pretty much exclude doing that! Max 28 day stay before moving on is the norm, some may be only 21 days, to deliberately prevent 'residential' use. As said, blind eyes are turned, so may be possible, BUT risk you may be forced to move at short notice if the breach in site/use licence comes to the attention of the authorities. And it's not unknown for abuse of land/license to be reported!

Moving into a grey/technicality area, you may get away with siting your van, but not living in it for one night every 28 days to satisfy the local authority laws. The van should probably be removed every 28 days, and return a couple of days later to meet the letter of the law!

There are waste disposal (normal rubbish), sanitation (sewage/waste water), and fresh water supply aspects that impact use of non-licenced camping 'sites', and these fall under the domain of a number of authorities, not just the local council who may object/act.

Mobile home sites, be they residential or holiday homes VERY rarely accept a 'bring on' and then most unlikely a tourer! They are mostly in the business of buying and selling through their own brokerage the mobile home units, and the longer term land lease agreements.

Plenty of discussion on similar situations over the years, worth using the site search at head of page to view what's been said before, but AKAIK I don't recall positive outcomes that have been posted, but that could just be OP never came back to update us!

I wish you well.

I know about all that. There are people that have planning permission for caravans on their land. My ex lives in one.

So there are 7 campsites in North Bedfordshire. Longest stay is 3 months - so I just move between them all, yeah? 👍

Not sure why you didn’t just pick up where you left off in your near-identical thread “living in a caravan” that you started 18/02/24 ? Would have avoided repetition.
Sorry that you’re not sorted yet, I can’t help: I don’t know that part of the world.

2024 = 20 sites / 41 nights. 2023 = 9/23. 2022 = 13/35. 2021 = 11/29. 2020 = 4/20. 2019 = 13/35. 2018 = 20/33. 2017 = 10/22. 2016 = 19/33. 2015 = 15 sites / 27 nights. Didn't count 1976 to 2014.

There is a farm near Lilley which is on the Beds/Herts border which has or had electricity and some caravans on it, but that was years ago. Don't know the name, maybe do some research? Not listed as a site on here.

XVI yes?

As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
