I stayed at Deeside a few years ago, it was ok but pretty expensive. I've also stayed at Hillhead at Kintore which has a small area for touring vans and tents. It has EHU and toilets/showers etc and is around 15 miles from Aberdeen. Decent enough for a short stay. It's been a while since I searched but there weren't that many sites in the Aberdeen area, Deeside and Hillhead were the nearest I think.

I'd go for Stonehaven(locally called Stoney ), but I'd take the X7 or X8 bus to Aberdeen Union square which is beside the railway station.
------------- Two drifters off to see the world.
I'm tired of reality, so I'm off to look for a good fantasy.
