Im bound to get some stick for this but hey ho lol.

I have my own Paranormal investigation group which ive been doing for a few years now! I havent actually heard of any supposedly haunted campsites ( officially haunted that is ) However there are plenty of places that are close to campsites!

One of which is Lulworth cove even if you dont see a ghost its a beautiful place! I like the idea of battle grounds too such as Culloden or Edgehill. Or old Raf bases

Borley church is supposedly haunted but of course the rectory is no longer there!

Lastly there is a village in Kent called Pluckley which is meant to be the most haunted village in England, if you could find a campsite there then that would be very interesting.

Hope this helps

Mark

Chillingham is brilliant - great day out! Kids loved the torture chamber....We also stayed in our caravan at Finchdale Abbey nr Durham this summer. I think the layout has been changed (some statics etc now). Didn't experience anything paranormal unfortunately but it is a nice spot. The abbey is certainly spooky though when you go dog walking by moonlight!

What about Abbey Farm in Llangollen.  Its situated right next to the ruins of Vale Crucis Abbey.  Never been but its supposed to be very spooky at night!!

I'm being optimistic here, but I'd like to quote some of the stories on this thread, particularly posts by Sahara, and Cubmum, in Chat It's Fate magazine on haunted holidays. I'm after your real names. Can you get in touch? No work required on your part. It's just a short snippet incorporateing your story, about haunted holiday destinations across the UK.
