Any recommendations for some wonderful favourite family campsites? Somewhere with a play area, scenery, walks/nearby beach/lake/attractions? Somewhere where kids have loads of fun?
We are Midlands based so are ready to travel in any direction!

If you fancy heading to Northumberland, Waren Mill has a great site there. Restaurant and bar , shop, amusements and swimming pools. Stunning scenery, by the beach and loads to visit!
We have just been and it is a really nice, friendly site.

Beverley Park, Paignton. Great for kids and lovely scenery. Entertainment team are also fantastic and it is very much that because of them, people keep going back!
Also Trevornick for us. Not usually into commercial sites but this one impressed us so much. The staff still wanted to be friendly and helpful in mid August!!
Another fave is also Cornwall...Pentewan Sands. Right on the beach and ood kids club and outdoor pool.
We have just returned from Trevornick, and after 10 years of caravanning, using a family orientated commercial site at least once a year, it rates at the best commercial site we have ever stayed on.
shell island harlech, been going there for 18 years no we ve got the van cant as its a tent only site, the kids will love it, it s only about 1 1/2 from brum and not very expensive just check tide times before you set off
Woodlands near Dartmouth, Devon is very good for kids. There is no pool or clubhouse but there is a games room and the adventure park at the bottom of the site provides hours of fun.
I prefer to camp on the Hillcrest section as it always seems less busy than the other two sections. Lots of things to do and see close by and Blackpool Sands beach is approx 10 mins drive away (although parking there is £5 a time).
