Can't wait till Friday!!  I will be there by lunchtime and the weather is looking promising.  Looking forward to tucking into some of that organic produce again!

Oh, I'm jealous! Have fun on Friday!

Our only trouble at Eweleaze was that last Saturday a group with three cars and three small tents parked right up against us. This was a dead nerve since there are FIVE fields to choose from and plenty of space. Granted, we had prime real estate right by the cliff path, but even so, this was a cheek! The evil eye was duly pointed in their direction to no avail. Some people have no shame.

Come the evening, the music started blasting...and blasting....and blasting from this party until 3.00 am in the morning. Being a live and let live type of woman (coward) with two children and since there were more of them than us, we let it go.    Payback was exquisite. The following morning their hangovers were clearly so bad that all that could be heard from that party were small moans of pain emanating from their tents. No more loud music! On Sunday, they left.

I just don't understand with the enormous wide spaces that Eweleaze provides why people deem it OK to pitch right on top of others.

All the foregoing said, this was just one tiny blip in a wonderful holiday. We will definitely be returning to Eweleaze.

Yes, the storm was a big one! Our car survived the boggy track (just) in the morning and the tent survived the storm really well. Since it was its first outing, I was impressed! No leaks at all.

The children were scared by the lightening - very. But when it was all over, they considered themselves to be true frontiersmen.
