Well if you want lively - have I got the site for you! Mind you, they may well not have a pitch but if you fancy Cornwall, it's worth giving them a ring and you can find their details on the ukcs sites 'camp sites search' bit.
Just click on UKCampsite.co.uklisitings and look at Pentewan Sands and everything you need to know will come up.We've been going there for about 12 years and it has everything, (and more), that you're after.
Swimming pool, (heated plus a kiddies paddling pool), beach bar/clubhouse which also serves great food and has a fun packed schedule all week long, supermarket, take away food bar, amusements, play park right on the beach and loads more - all of which is free. Only trouble is that it does tend to be a bit pricier than many sites but this has the one major advantage of being set around it's own beach in a lovely cove, so sea swimming's gr8 too!
And, at this time of year, pitches are tricky to get hold of but if it's only for one week, you might be lucky. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you
