Hi all,

Sorry if i break any house rules or haven't done this correctly but i'm always being told off for being naughty so i'll apologise first. .Anyway managed to get some holiday time and promised my lovelly wife a drive down to Devon for a week in the tent at one or two camp sites. Haven't been since i was about 10 so need some advice (went to Ruda then, Bude i think). A friend has mentioned a gnomes vilage which my wife now definatly wats to see (any ideas),  will need a site thats friendly, in reach of beaches and pubs with shower / toilet facilities. Will be going around the August bank holiday (maybe a day or 2 before) would be nice to have local attractions with someting to do. Will be driving down from Ramsgate in Kent so about 5-6 hours away. Any advice apreciated. Thanks in advance.

If your going to Bude try Willow Valley we have just been there its really good and have a look at the reviews what have been left by others who have visited.  Very reasonable prices at £9.00 a night for a tent.  Excellent shower facilites and campsite owners extremely friendly and helpful
