I know we have left it very very late but can anybody recommend a small site with toilet block that we can get onto over the Bank Hols.  I am itching to put my new tent up for its first airing but everywhere I have tried are fully booked.  Dont mind where it is really as long as not too far.  Hertfordshire, warwickshire. lincolnshire, derbyshire  - help!

I take it by the long silence that it is nigh on impossible to book a pitch or two at such late notice.  I have emailed several small sites but they are either booked or I am still awaiting a reply.

What a lovely site - but alas you are just abit too far. I am in Hertfordshire, but I do love the Welsh countryside due to having parents that live that direction.  In fact have just returned from a holiday in Tenby with them.  Not bad but the weather was dire.

Thanks for the offer tho - will keep you in mind for next year.

Sorry the thread seems to have disappeared. it was on tent talk too.  I said i had looked at caravanand camping and emailed a couple of sites and will let you know how i get on.  thanks for the advise tho.
