Has anyone stayed here recently and comment on what the site is like? Last review was posted August 2003.

We drove past this site last week and it seems they are building lodges there now, so im not sure what it would be like going at this satge. It looked like a housing development with all the big signs outside. Plus i hear its adults only these days

We stayed at Ranksborough Hall a few weeks ago.  It's adult only & it's bliss if you want peace & quiet.  Toilets/showers are housed in a new portacabin type thing, they are immaculate. All pitches are level, although the ground is a bit hard if you're trying to put tent pegs in !

There are some lodges being built in another field, we didn't experience any noise at the week-end.

We saw a peacock about 10 feet from out tent, it was beautiful.

If you go there, they don't take credit/debit cards, only cash or cheques.

I can definitely recommend this site.
