I'm trying to compile myself a list of everyone's favourite adult only sites. I've been to Longnor Wood and The Old Oaks and loved them both. So were else have people been that they've enjoyed.

We've been to back of beyond and daisy bank. They were great.

Visited waterrow - looked really nice.

Booked in for a week at Exe valley but stayed about 12 hours - dreadful.

Moved from there to Cheddar bridge - nice site but some pitches a bit small, others large.

Visited Oxon hall - looks nice

Beaconsfield, we couldn't stay at - they accept dogs or tents, but not dogs in tents!!! We now have a caravan and won't go back.

Parents went to Bronte last bank holiday but said it was too crowded.

What was wrong with exe valley we've just come back from a week there with a tent, and it was brilliant, and they don't charge for dogs.

We've just done 2 sites, Chacewater Park near Truro and Woodville Park near Newton Abbot in Devon. Both were very clean and with excellent facilities, very well run, would recommend them anytime. Shame the weather was c**p.

Back of beyond accept tents and there is even a wonderful field that tenter's can use but vans cant due to the wildlife i believe. I know it looked wonderful, almost enough to think about taking a tent .

We did greendale in whissendine, nice small friendly quiet adult only site with a pool. Perhaps a bit too quiet for us though! Excellent clean facilities there.

I think we were unlucky at exe valley - couldn't fit the tent on the pitch (it's was a 3 pod done tent, smaller than a diablo) and woke to find a campervan parked on the road opposite our pitch - which was towards the bottom end, so the road was right next to us. The toilets were filthy and the washer had been broken for weeks.- had a notice on it stating broken and a date from weeks previous.  I hated the idea of the main road just above my head, all be it 30 foot above. The showers were dirty also. It was last summer when we went and it was very very busy. There were lots of moans on the site and we did complain to the owner and moved on the following day. As I say, maybe we were unlucky. It was the positive reviews that tempted us there. However, If i had known about the road, size of some pitches, no lights at all any where near the "dog walk area" which made it pitch black! and dirty facilities - we would never have gone.

Glad other people had enjoyed it though.

I must admit we had pitch 50 which was next to the dog walking area and we only just managed to fit our Coleman bispace 500 on it. I think that was the smallest pitch on the site. Showers and toilets were nice and clean too. The road was noisy but I loved the site.
