Hi

Just to get an idea, because they seem to vary so much, what would yoiu expect to pay for the following, per night fees,

1 x 6 man tent (Vango Vista TBS)

1 x EHU

2 x adults 1 x child

1 x car + trailer

I've just been quoted 21 quid per night which seems a tad expensive - the only thing exceptional about the site was that we had use of a swimming pool! (which i doubt we'd use, but it's there anyway) 84 quid for 4 nights... Hmmmmm

Any views ?

That seems expensive to me.  We generally pay less than £13 per night for a six man tent for 2 adults without EHU.

As you say, prices vary. £21 is on the expensive side, but not very unusual at this time of year. Shop around, I'm sure you'll find somewhere cheaper. If for whatever reason it's a site that you really want to use, then your choice is simple...

I would expect you to pay something like £6 per adult + £3 or £4 for the child.  nothing for the car or trailer and anything from £5 to £10 for the ehu - £21 sounds about right to me, but hey I'm usually wrong!

Hi

Most sites will vary in price so if you really want to go to that particular site you will have to pay it, if you think it is too expensive for what you are getting have a shop around for a similar site and compare the prices.

There are no steadfast rules about pricing it is down to the individual site how they price the pitches.

If you are unhappy with the price as said previously go elsewhere if you want to go to the site the choice is yours.

cheers

steve

Seems it depends where you go and the camps pricing structure.  Went to site couple of week-ends ago in North Wales. 2 adults & 2 kids.  £14 per night with or without EHU.

We stayed on a brilliant wee site about a month ago, 2 Adults, 5 kids, 2 dogs, huge tent, car and trailer.  £10 per night. (with EHU was £11 per night), stayed at another site two weeks ago didn't like the site at all, just 4 kids this time,  no dogs and it cost us £18 per night.
