hi

does anyone know of a site with free fishing as my hubby and 2 sons go ,most ive found are around £5 per person a day and that could get expensive.

youngest son said he would like a stream to paddle in as well.

we need toilets,showers and elec hookup.

 trenfield is about 20 mins away from us we are going to try that one in sept but is a bit close to home for more than a weekend for me as i will be a fishing widow and would end up walking home to talk to my friends lol.

Hi Jane ......... pity you didn't post a few weeks back ..... you could have join a few of us there ......... I know what ya mean about him fishing ....... mine was up at 7am off to the riverbank

Iv'e just come back from Floods Ferry Marina near March in cambridgeshire, the fishing isn't free but its only 2.00 pound each and all the pitches are on the side of the canal with there own fishing platform, we caught pike, tench, eels, lots of small fish and the guy on the next pitch caught a zanda, thought it might be an idea as they dont actualy leave the pitch so I didn't feel as if id been left on my own.

The site is only small with a small cosy club house that sells basic bar meals, which were very resonable, we had EHU and it cost 9.00 a night, the people who own it are really nice and very friendly, there are a few reviews on here for it.

We only went for 3 nights but are going to go back next year for a week
