I am going to this site at the weekend I had a bit of mix up with my booking so I rang and spoke to a very, very rude man at the weekend who was no help at all.  I feel like going somewhere else only I'd lose my money and at this late stage might not get another site has anyone else had problems with manners at this site.

I went last year and found the staff to be a bit rude. I was taking a shower about 6.30 one morning and overheard one of the staff tell another lady she couldn't use the facilities because he was cleaning it and to go to one of the others. It's the way he said it and, if you were busting for the loo it was a good 5 minute walk to the next nearest toilet block. I wasn't that impressed with the campsite overall, the facilities were filthy but from the other reviews it seems i must have just picked a bad time.

I have just come back from this place and thought it was great - loads for the kids to do, really nice views, central to al the places near the north wales coast, and i got on with the main warden there as he is a fellow biker. The toilets wernt that brill in my field as the field was packed and were being used all the time... Only othe moan was the lack of shopping goods in the Shop but if i had to score it - it would be 8/10

We stayed for the May bank holiday(our first ever camping trip). We did find the staff a bit unfriendly. Thought the toilet/shower facilities were very good. On reflection as we are now verterans of 4 camping holidays the shop was poorly stocked considering the size of the site and it was a bank holiday.

We think the location is great and have been to a nearby site twice since. tyn-yr-onnen farm. http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/details.asp?revid=1096. On paper it doesn't seem as good, the site is not flat, the toilets are good but not brand new like Bryn Gloch, but we found the atmosphere to be more relaxing and enjoyed our stays there far more.

These sites are about a mile apart and both  have fantastic views.

Hmmmm  it seems that this site has mixed results. We went May BH , it had rained faily heavily & we were in field 6 which we had been warned was the wetest as its closest to the stream & bbq area (fenced off for safety). The area was VERY wet lots of standing water, felt sorry for those in tents as the pitches were water logged.

When we arrived we found that the pitch we were placed on would take our caravan & Awning even though the awning was payed for the position of a gate into the bbq area meant that we could put the awning up without bloking the gate, we also had to pitch closer to the next van than I would of liked, ended up having to apologies ac'cos it was so close. The Warden ended up using mesh fencing to block it in the end. We felt really bad 'cos everytime someone walked to the gate it was blocked we got dirty looks as if we'd complained to have it shut, if fact we didn't put the awning  up so that people could still use the gate.

Personally I wouldn't return the wife said it was great though, and lots of other peeps say it great. Staff seemed ok to me.
