We stayed at Buttyland last weekend its a big site, quite basic though but cheap (£10 a night with no EHU). Showers are basic so are loos and you need to take loo roll, but it was fine as a base, huge open fields and lots of room for kids to play and very good  fish and chip van at the entrance.

We visited Caldey Island while we were there it was lovely definatly worth a trip.

Try whitesands bay near St davids.

Avoid Lleithyr farm( nearby) though they charge per berth of your tent no matter how many actually occupy or how big it is which I find incredible ( was a realy high charge eventually too when we added up for our 6 berth tent)

Not sure if you have a caravan or not but Lleithyr meadow ( next door to lleithyr farm) caravan club site is excellent

Try Brandy Brook near Roch - between Haverfordwest and St. Davids.  Very quiet unless you count the babbling brook, cows, sheep and birds.
