we just got back from Tencreek in Looe, Cornwall. Weekend was nice, although just a little disapointed in Tencreek. The site seems like 50% are seasonal pitches quite a few untidy. We only found one toilet/shower block (theres only one listed on the map of the site) and for the amount of campers that was not enough, they were also unclean with water and toilet paper all over the floor, they need more regular cleans. Also being it was a bank holiday and the site was full, the bins on site needed emptying more regularly as they were full and overflowing.   We were booked til tomorrow but decided to leave today, glad we did as there was hardly anyone on the A303.  Looe and Polperro were beautiful and we would go again, maybe a different campsite next time. hope everyone else had a nice time wherever you went

Sorry you were disapointed with the site, havent been there, spoils hols a bit though when site isnt right.

Hi - we have just come back from a few days in the same area, but at a site called West Wayland.  Great site, a little noisy where we were pitched (near playpark) due to large group late at night, but other than that, fantastic.  Nicely mowed lawns, on a very slight slope, views out to Talland Bay (lovely by the way)  Old shower/loo block but clean and freshly decorated, lots of hot water, shop open twice a day and fish and chip van at entrance in the evening!  And the best bit - so cheap ...  3 pounds per adult, pn and only one pound for each child - no charge for extra pup tents, gazebos, dogs etc etc.  So a total of six pounds for me, the three kids, one dog per night in high season! a bargain.
