Hi loopy - we are SE London/Kent borders so anywhere south of the M4 really. My husband is a big fan of Cornwall and New Forest and I love Britain as a whole, the wilder regions especially like the Highlands of Scotland.
Shaun, that site sounds good, I'm making lots of notes to refer back to next year when we go again. We stayed at a site in Romsey which had lovely toilets and showers, play area for the kids, mini golf course but we had a tiny pitch allocated to us under a PYLON. If I wanted a pylon or a mast I would stayed home. Also the hidden trampoline behind the hedge was a haven for the swearing teenagers. When I spoke the manager about it he said "oh you're not the first to complain about the trampoline". Er, so why is it still there then?
I think I'll have to camp up a mountain to get the peaceful holiday I crave.
Thanks all.
