Southport Riverside is the one we used, depends what you are looking for.

Cheap, large site, more commercial than the sites we normally,go for, club on site, fish and chip shop, good toilet facilities, flat field. 

As I said depends what your looking for, members had mixed views on the site, so we have not rebooked for 2006.

Riverside is great . We enjoyed the club had a really good act on, finnished the night off in the nightclub country and western great time been back since and enjoyed it great venue for us oldies.

Pam - I agree, its a good site with a nice club, especially if your into C and Western and line dancing. Not been there for a few years now, but used to go pretty regularly on a Wed nite for the line dancing and they had some great acts on. I believe there is a sports facility now, might try it again next year.

Willowbank has another link somewhere on the site that I read about the owner being a little rude about certain types of transport but the site itself was spotless last time I visited.

I looked at Willowbank for an owners club rally in 2004 but I was told this year that it was under new ownership and they wer notr taking rallies any more. You could try them but I think it will be a case of new owners using the rally field and putting lodges or holiday homes on. the income is far more!!!

We enjoyed the Riverside site the toilet, shower block were super and there was a bus at site gates into Southport which was very handy.
