just checked the calender for 2006 and noticed that easter is even earlier next year...the middle of april....who reckons its too early to book a site now...bearing in mind some sites close october and don,t open until march. anyone booked yet?
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!

Easter this year was March,so next year it is a bit later than this year.
OK, here's a question for the pious amongst us.
Although I have a degree in history (so I know a bit about what happened in the past!) religion has always been a place I avoid. Who can explain to me (in layman's terms) how Easter can happen on a different day every year, while the birth (Christmas) always occurs on the same date?
Hi Just started to caravan & have so far booked aweekend in Sharadoba in Sutton in ashfield beg of December, New Years meet at Pickering also booked for Goosewood in York at Easter. The best part of this is planning then going.
You can never be too early our last weekend at Durham several caravans were cancelled as the grass pitches were waterlogged but as we had booked early we were on a hardstanding pitch. Live life to the full book for easter!!!

Our Easter is booked, Snowdonia, cant wait. Its always our first outing of the year. and still got the whole of the winter to get through yet. Sometimes I wonder about a tin tent to keep us camping all year but expect I will have to wait for the dream M/H
Hmmn, thanks for that KatieB. I'd always wondered what/who/how the date for Easter was "decided" by. As a result of the link you loaded I'm now completely confused and so have decided that I no longer care. Life's too short!!!!!!!!!
Looking forward to 2008 though - Easter falls just after Xmas (well, 23rd March) so doubtless the Easter Eggs will be fighting for supermarket shelf space with the fireworks, halloween masks and advent calendars all at the same time. Oh, that's right, they already do.
