Hi Can anyone reccommed a site on the Isle of White? Weve never been before. Don't want a site where theres loads going on something fairly quiet but must have outdoor pool. Would really like to hear any recommendations

Have a look here . I go to the Isle of Wight many times a year, but all the camp sites we use have entertainment etc etc. I don't think they would be quiet enough for what you want. They all have outdoor pools though.
Hi,we stayed last year at Orchards Caravan Park no clubhouse ,lovely outdoor pool and an indoor one too,was nice and peacefull,Sounds just what your looking for and comes highly recommended by us
Another vote for Orchards, abosultely top notch site..in fact one of the best I have ever visited, in terms of facilites vs peace and quiet. No club house, but very friendly take away and large shop on site.
Toilets and showers are first class too.

We stayed at Ninham Country Holidays last year. Its is the best site I have ever stayed on for pitch sizes and space. Even in mid August the amount of space was vast. No other site on the Isle of Wight has spacious camping like this place. Its their policy not to pack them in!! Everyone pitches around the outside edge of most fields and the space in the middle is just that but other sites would probably fit in another 2 rows of tents. The out door pool good as well (toddler pool too) the only let down were the loo blocks. Small and dated. Not awful but after 10 days the queuing etc got on my nerves. I think its a pay off between space space and more space and OK ish loos or normal pitches and maybe better loos.
Forgot to say my kids took their bikes and there was loads of space for them to play without getting on peoples nerves - also fishing etc.
Hi. we stayed at languard site.it is one of the special offer sites with red funnel.with outdoor pool no club and just a short walk into shanklin.and the station for trips out..royell.

I can vouch than Languard is good. We stayed there for a few days. We were actually booked into Lower Hyde next door, but we got a special deal at Languard and stayed there for 3 nights first then moved next door to Lower Hyde.
The Orchards is a fantastic site because its quiet and peaceful after a busy day touring around the island. Yet in the day is boasts two brilliant pools - one inside and one out.
The only thing that I could possibly knock it for is, if you go early on in the season it can be a bit windy in the top field as it is open from the coastal wind.
Good Luck
Les Wilson.

Landguard for me to, spent 3 summer holidays there and loved it, really friendly and great outdoor pool, and a short walk into shanklin and all that offers and the train for days out without driving. http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/details.asp?revid=1121
