It will normally also say 'non members welcome' on the sign. I think anyway!! shows how much notice I take. Happy camping (o'h they don't all have tent sites - we learnt coz our friends have a tent so we have to bear this in mind when all going together with vans and tents.)
The Caravan Club only allow non members to use their campsites if its a condition of the lease. If you were intending to stay on one of the sites for 5 days or more it would almost be cheaper to join the Club as there is quite a hefty non member fee.
I'd agree with David. You'd probably (almost) recoup your membership fee by avoiding a few nights of the non-members supplement. Same with the C and CC- but then that's the purpose of trhe supplement to some extent-they'd rather have you as members. BUT-to answer your question-it will state "members only" on entrance sign-if you want to check before you go check their websiter.
Yes they do, when we stayed at longleat there were several trailer tents and the site didn't allow normal tents.... I rang coniston CC to see how much extra it would be for our camping friends as they take tents and was told by the warden that tents are not charge the non members fee as they can't join the club (being a tent) and so it would be unfair for them to be charged extra; not sure if this is the case at any of their other sites excepting tents.

Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
We use the Park Coppice and Kendal CC sites with our trailer tent and last year we joined as it worked out cheaper for the 4 days we were staying at Kendal than paying the non memer fee , Is ok to join with a trailer tent ,havent looked into it yet but I would hpe as a member I would be able to use all there sites with the trailer tent ,Chris
