Does anyone know if this site accepts large tents. We have a Halford XL and just wondered if anyone has pitched this tent or one of equivalent size there. Also, what's the site like for camping ? Pitches are on opposite side of a road from the main site. Is there anything for the kids to do on the camping side ? Please help !!!

The pitch sizes are approx 25ft by 25ft ( 7.5m by 7.5m ). I enquired earlier before I booked and thats the size they gave me. The site comes highly recommended, I am going for the first time in August.
Normally I find the sizes they give me are a rough guide. There is probably a little bit extra to spare outside that size. Your Hartford will probably go on.

We have booked for 30th July for 2 weeks after all the good reviews on here. We have a Kyham Rigidome and they saw no problems . It is a pick your own pitch site so it would be worth taking a quick ride around the empty pitches first to see what looks the best
Hi there, we too have a Hartford Xl, we have bookd there for a week in June. I have read before that the pitches are a decent size, so sure you will be ok. I found most of last year that our tent was no bigger than alot others!
The site gets good reviews, so really looking forward to going. I am sure also that someone said on here that the camping area does have a play area?
When are you planning on going?

there is a small play area for the children on the camping side near the shops and shower block for top field. The middle and top field are on tiers and we faced our tent over looking the airfield so we could watch the aircraft in and out. we went last year and while we were there someone put a cabonon range tent and it fitted easy on the pitch. i hope you have a great time like we did.
