Can anybody help please.

After searching the internet for what felt like hours I came across Trencreek which seemed the perfect site for our summer holiday. Unfortunately it seems to be in the wrong place as our summer usually revolves around surfing.

Does anybody know of a similiar site on the surfing side of Cornwall??

Ideally we would love to have a pool but no club and be reasonably close to a beach.

Any recommendations to save my aching typing finger would be greatly appreciated.

Longjon.

Try Here:

Treglisson Caravan And Camping Park

It's in Hayle, not the main surf area but a lovely quiet little site with a pool and it is on the North Coast

Hi Mike, thanks for the reply.

Stayed at little treverrack last year so we know the area a bit already.

Treglisson looks nice and is now on our shortlist, have you been there yourself?

Longjon.

You could try Praa Sands Holiday Park on http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/details.asp?revid=3451.  They have a very quiet site.  No pool, but right on Praa beach for great surfing.

If you book before March you can even get discount, ask to speak to Annie.

Thanks for the recommendation Strongbow, have to admit Gwithian was on my shortlist last year but they had no pitches left for the time we were going.

Praa, can you confirm the facilities at Praa sands, as the web search shows a pool and clubhouse???

Any more ideas - still open to suggestions for the perfect site (if it exists) that has a pool, is near a beach and preferably has no clubhouse. Yeah, I know, the moon on a stick!!!

Longjon.

We went to Hayle last year and stayed at St. Ives Bay Hoilday Park, it has every thing you need, pool, showers ok and pretty clean, bar and noise if you want it. The beach you can walk to with good surf, it kept my 16, 15, 8 years old happy. The site was quiet at night and no road noise. And only few minutes drive to St. ives. Rayna
