I think I may have left it too late to plan Easter so I need some help

I live in the midlands and want a coastal(ish) location and have the South West (cornwall is too far) or Wales (mid or south)in mind.

I need a site which will accept my Montana 12 and provide EHU plus have enough to keep the kids occupied for the easter weekend. Ideally an indoor swimming pool, but I need a plan B in case of bad weather even if this is something local which charges.

At the same time I don't want to be hassled by gangs of teenagers.

Can anyone make any recommendations?

Hi Hairy Rod

That sounds like a good idea - and an area I don't really know. Is there a particular site you'd prefer?

Thanks for your help.

Hi, we are off to Yeatheridge farm in Devon which is a nice uncommercialised working farm site but also has an indoor pool with slides, a nice bar, playground, fishing and great walks...not sure if thats too far for you tho?

Thanks for some excellent suggestions - I've managed to get a pitch provisionally booked at West Bay Holiday Park, Bridport in Dorset.

Hopefully I've done the right thing as it has a largish pitch, EHU, indoor pool etc. Only time will tell.

There are some other good suggestions I'll be trying in the future through - I especially like the sound of Yeatheridge farm.

Thanks again

We can vouch for Yeatheridge Farm.

We went there a few years back and they couldn't be more helpful.

No ripping off with bar prices. Fairly level pitches and as Amanda said. "Working farm" which does give the youngsters something to occupy themselves with. Great walks too.....

I believe their address is CREDITON in Devon?

Might be right for you?

Nigel

We had a great time at West Bay, what we particularly liked was the location, short walk and you were in the centre/beach. But the pitches weren't very big, see my review http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/reviews.asp?revid=1210
