beautiful site. wardens are very helpful. like jenni says lock your bikes up at night.

just get on your bikes and you don't need to go on the main road if you don't want to.

next to the shop there is a wooden phone room full of info about the area.

you'll love it.

to me to u! my father in law looks so much like one of the chuckle bros that our nephew saw them on tv and pointed and said - look grandad' was funny to say the least - bless him. Id have though rotherham was more than half an hour away but hey ho depends how fast u drive lol

Hi, we are booked up at clumber park at easter, we have been before, and found it an excellent site especially cycle routes, My Husband usually takes his and my daughter's and I end up hiring one (can only fit 2 bikes on our rack), (hire centre few miles from site, nice visitor centre as well). the centre also has a leaflet/map of all the different routes.

i thought the site had shut down if it hasnt do they take tents i love clumber park but only been for day trips

Hi I think that the Caravan and Camping Club site has closed down....but the caravan club  is still open but they don't take tents.

We love Clumber site too, and we're just half an hour away!  We're down the road in a village near Gainsborough!  It does feel like we're miles away from home when we go!  Sherwood site a bit further down the road is good too (near Edwinstowe) but like Clumber tends to be very popular so you need to book early.

Sherwood Pines is worth a visit if you do want to travel out.  Its got 'Escape' so you can go swinging through the trees and miles of cycle track too.

O'h wish I was there now not sorting my stuff out for work  grrrr....
