Just wanted to make people aware that Flamingoland Holiday Park have decided they are no longer taking bookings for touring pitches they say you now just turn up. I was hoping to travel down from Scotland and had friends coming from Stoke to meet up at Flamingoland at the beginning of August. A long way to travel to find that we may not all be able to get a pitches. So I guess I'll have to find 5/6 pitches elsewhere

It was the same last year,we just turned up!....the site is massive can't see it ever being full...infact they told me it has never been full yet!,although I can see where you are coming from because I was a little worried about being turned away last year until I seen the size of the site.

Flamingoland have never taken bookings for touring as far as I am aware we have been going for the past 4 years and have never booked.

Site has lots of pitches I would estimate around 200 so plenty of room if you are not planning to go high season I would think you should be OK.

Be prepared for the toilets they are not spotless
