Hi there, a group of us would like to go for a weekend camping within easy distance of Stourhead (Wilts/somerset border)..has anyone any recommendations please? It's very time consuming to try and locate a campsite close to something based on area alone rather than the attraction. Any advice gratefully received.

Try Batcombe Vale - gorgeous site, relaxed, small, with loads for the kids to do (although no 'playground'), including free rowing boats. We love it for quick weekends away from home
