I am wanting to go camping with all my family. My brother is coming over from Canada and he really wants to see Loch Ness, there are 18 of us coming and really looking forward to it. We are hopfully looking for

• Boat Launching
• Close Supermarkert
• Nightlife
• Lots to do
• Things for the children

PLease can you help me. I really need a good site. OR a big cottage for 18 people!! More like a Hostel hehe!!

Cant get any closer than this... right on the shore.

Hi Katie, we go to loch ness at least once a year, it's great! It has a slipway for a boat or you can hire Bobs and you can hire fishing rods. Tesco, Safeway and Mcdonalds are about 30 minutes away in Inverness but there are smaller shops within 15 minutes drive. And they hire static caravans, i can'twait to go back

I had a very bad experience at the Loch Ness Caravan & Camping Park last year so I would have to say I wouldn't recommend it.

I visited the site in July 2004 and would not return, I think its overpriced, too cramped and the toilet facilities are disgusting.  If you have a good look around there are a lot better camp sites with cleaner and better facilities for cheaper prices.

we had a great time at the site the owner was very friendly and made a point of coming to see us off when we were leaving even though he was quite busty at the time i would highly recomend it
