hi are you looking for a recomendation.? have you tried the camsite search ther are two on this site one on the message boards and one the top of the page. mind you i have had a quick look and there is only one and it doesnot have a phone number

Depending how close you want to be you could try the Camping and Caravanning Club site near Emsworth between Chichester and Portsmouth.  Read the reviews for personal recommendations.

There is a site in Southsea about a twenty minute walk along the seafront to Portsmouth

The Caravan Club have sites at Morn Hill just off the M3 and Rookesbury Park near Fareham, both within easy reach of Portsmouth. Mind you many years ago when we used the Portsmouth ferry for getting to France we used the one mentioned by loopy.
